Owned by Mr. Larry Hahn, Scentura Creations is one of the most easily recognizable employment scams in America today. It is as simple as doing a google search. I almost got sucked in as well.

Basically, Hahn finds unskilled and unspecialized employment seekers and turns them into his followers. He provides the training. And the formula for finding suckers to peddle the perfume for them. They open their own office to sell his rendition (knock off) perfume as independant contractors, and use his training methods to brainwash potential employees. By using belittling and group suggestion, they use cult-like rah-rah sessions, they promise a "manager" job that requires no experience. Usually they use an informal setting with loud music and
interviews with disarming questions like "are you married or happy?". They promise bonuses and trips to hawaii for top performers, none of which happens. You just MIGHT meet the great Larry some day. You WILL sign a paper saying you are an independant contractor and you WILL be sent to wal mart parking lots to peddle perfume. And possibly get arrested for not having a permit to solicit. Managers will kick you off store property. Read the horror stories.

The beauty of this scam is its success. Larry Hahn will never be held accountable for the debt his followers accumulate trying to "make it" in his doomed from the start pyramid scheme. He is legally independant and cannot be charged with any wrongdoing, or the actions of his contractors as he is just the distrubtor. Basically, the man runs an unethical business, receives the profit, and none of the liability, while his employees are brainwashed and go broke as they try to be their own boss. And then blame themselves for being weak as training tells them they should. Even the Better Business Bureau can't touch him. All this, and his perfumes don't even smell close to the originals that they are knocking off. A perfect scam.

Nothing like writing your own FIVE STAR reviews! Scentura Creations is for suckers and desperate people willing to try anything, absolutely anything. The business plan is unsustainable and has a very high turn-over.

People spend tens of thousands of dollars and years of their life in college, with no real guarantee of a job. With Scentura, you learn for free, it only takes 90 days, and then you're guaranteed a real shot at a career.



When you think of it like that, it's a pretty incredible opportunity, and you won't find that in too many other places.



It's not for everyone, because it is a tough business. But for someone that doesn't really have much else going on, this is a great opportunity in a tough economy.

I know several people who have become quite successful selling Scentura's product-line. Most of these people were relatively uneducated and had little business experience. And more importantly, none of them had a dime to their name when they started.



Scentura's owner, Larry Hahn, was broke himself when he started the company. He built the business by selling consumer products and teaching his friends to do the same.



By providing the merchandise free up-front, it was easy for people to open new offices selling Larry's merchandise. Pretty simple concept, but brilliant none-the-less.



Pretty amazing how far the business has come, and it's great to see people I know become so successful following in Larry's footsteps.

There's no doubt that Scentura provides a very unique opportunity. They allow independent business owners unlimited access to their inventory on a hand-shake. You won't find that in too many places.



I know they take a lot of heat, people claim they're a scam or a pyramid... But I think those people are over-thinking it. Scentura just supplies the product. There's no sign-up fees, no auto-ship programs, nothing.



And that's an important distinction - Scentura's business model is sustained by the sale of its product, whereas a Pryamid is legally defined as "a business model that is supported by monies paid in from new entrants."
