A month ago my wife and I took friends/visitors from out-of-state to Sandy Springs Diner, because previously we had been wowed with the enormous food selection and the quality/flavor of the food. The four of us ordered; three of us ordered pastrami sandwiches, and the fourth, one of our guests, ordered a corned beef sandwich. Flavor was great, portions were generous, and we all were satisfied. Our guests insisted upon paying.

Within an hour-and-a-half to two hours, the corned beef made itself known in a powerful and most unpleasant way to the guest who had eaten it, ruining the rest of the afternoon and beyond. My wife and I still feel bad that our recommendation for a restaurant had caused our good friend to get sick. There is little doubt about cause and effect, as the afflicted guest is a doctor who is familiar with such ailments. He was fortunate to not have needed hospitalization.

We all realize that such things happen, but we also know that they are preventable. This shouldn't have happened!

Terrible service. All the girls looked like they had an attitude problem. Had to ask for everything more than 2x. Waited almost 5 min to be seated and had to wait to pay, and the restaurant was not busy at the time. So, why the long wait? However, food was very good. I always leave good tips no matter what the circumstances were. But, this time I could not. I just couldn't. I even prayed about it for a moment. I still couldn't leave a decent tip. I left a tip but it was minimal.

This Diner has everything.It has a big menu and very low prices.I went for Lunch And the Place was packed.The service was pleasant and quick i will go back.
