By the time I cross checked my in-network doctors, neighborhood recommendations and Mapquest, I happily ended up with Sage Hill Pediatrics. My kindergartener does not like doctors offices but they even got him to giggle over the ear exam when he used to shriek in fear. We didn't feel rushed during the exam here...it was thorough and comforting. When I arrived, the front desk woman seemed especially relieved that I had all my paperwork including immunization record. So I'm guessing patients don't usually come prepared. Oddly, no one mentioned that the location is in the Sage Hill Kroger shopping center. You can't see it from the street at all and home street addresses are hard to see on Briarcliff. The clinic is to the left of Krogers.

Dr. Rodbell is exactly what I always wanted in a pediatrician. He is highly skilled as a physician, which is clearly the first priority, but he is also attentive and actually *LISTENS* to parents and tries to address issues together. His compassion has made all the difference in addressing the serious challenges we have faced with a child with autism, as well as a typically developing tween.
