I was a member of Midtown Athletic Club for 20 years. AVOID THIS CLUB. Over the years the cost has increased and the club has gone downhill. They are the most expensive health club in the area that I know of. Most of the good reviews you see are old. MIDTOWN ATHLETIC CLUB is NOT WORTH the MONEY. Don't sign a contract with them. They will take every penny they can get from you! They have removed equipment racquet ball courts and other facilities that I used.

I recently joined LA Fitness and it is a much better value. The locker rooms are better and you pay much less for more. And you will have access to many more clubs and equipment.

When I cancelled my membership at Midtown Athletic Club they insisted on charging me for another month. They continued to charge my credit card against my will.

STAY AWAY Midtown Athletic Club. If you are already a member, don't get passive and just keep paying the outrageous cost. There are much better and less expensive options.
