Provided by YP.comMy family used Longleaf for several weeks and they were AMAZING. We had an experience with another company that was unfavorable and Longleaf was able to come out quickly and help us in a dire and emotional crisis. When a loved one gets a terminal diagnosis, things change in an instant. Pam and the Nurses and caregivers at Longleaf were skilled and compassionate and were able to provide the tender and experienced care we needed. I strongly recommend them and thank them all once again..Deborah

Provided by YP.comThis is a terrible organization. They were one of two organizations that Northside Hospital in Cumming recommended. I chose Longleaf because I liked their sales rep, Pam. She seemed compassionate and came to see us immediately. I thought she was an example of the type of service we would expect to receive. Boy, was I ever wrong. The day my Mom came home, the nurse who met us seemed unprepared and almost afraid to touch my Mom. She was telling us what to do, but not demonstrating to us what needed to be done. As a grieving family with no medical background, we were left to fend for ourselves. The next morning, my Mom was in crisis, so I called the nurse assigned to us, but got her voicemail. I then called the 24-hour emergency number and they took my information and said that someone would call me within 20 minutes, if they didn't, then I should call them back. My Mom died the next day, it took 2 hours for them to send someone. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
Kathy, First and foremost, we’re sorry to hear about your experience. Longleaf is known for its compassionate and quality care, and we regret you feel your mother did not receive that type of care while on our service. Our president has followed up with you, your mother’s care team and our clinical director in response to your comments. Though our team was saddened to read your online review, we very much value and acknowledge your feedback. Thank you for taking the time to review our company. If you would like to discuss this further, please call us at 770-939-9179. Our sincere apologies, Longleaf Hospice

Provided by YP.comThis is the worse hospice. We used them without checking others first. You wouldn't dream a hospice would give you poor service but that's what we got. They changed meds with my limited medical background recommendations. They acted put out when we would call. One lady called me a week after Mom passed to say an aide would be there that day to bathe my Mom. She apologized but that should have never happened. Pick another hospice. Stay away from this one
Michele, We are so very sorry for your experience with our company. Longleaf strives to surround patients and their families with compassionate and quality care, and regret you feel your mother did not receive that type of care. If you would please leave a good call back number with our office 770-939-9179, he will be in touch shortly. Thank you for your feedback and we look forward to talking to you soon. Provided by YP.comMy mother entered into Longleaf Hospice due to a horrible terminal cancer diagnosis. We were told by her doctors that she would either strangle to death or the cancer would spread to her brain and put her in a coma. Unfortunately, it was her fate to strangle due to the tumor in her neck blocking her airway, but the nurses and chaplain at Longleaf kept her comfortable during her transition. Though it was hard to watch, the level of care and support offered by Longleaf was unmatched before, during, and after her death. Our chaplain, Bob, has been caring and supportive following mom’s transition. Longleaf is owned by Georgia Cancer Specialists, so they knew exactly how to handle mom’s illness and passing in comfort and care. I am so grateful to them.
