Kipp Ways Academy not only teaches the students academically but also teaches them about their community and community service. I love that fact that the students have a day to give back to the community. Also the faculty and staff have found a way to discipline kids that actually deals with the cause of the problem and helps the student(s) resolve the root cause of the issue.

If you want your child to learn in a safe environment where discipline is handled so that learning can take place then you are at the right place. The Kipp way takes so.excited adjusting for students and parents. Yet the educationAL experience is important for all children. They teach the children social skills as well as academics. When was the last time a class was taught in school about what it means to be a man or a woman. I'll wait.

It's a PRISON! This school is designed for underachieving juvenile delinquents! If your child(ren) are well behaved, mannerly, sociable, and functioning at or above their grade level this school is not for them! It will change your child & have them angry at you. The majority of teachers are black women who are hell bent on using outdated mean intimidating scare tactics as a means of control. Using the restroom is a privilege, and only authorized sparingly. Bladder/kidney damage may be a possibility after a year or two. Socializing is frowned upon outside of very limited circumstances, and your child will be punished (by taking away amounts of earned school dollars) for doing so. There is absolutely NO strong male presence their so I hope there is one at home or elsewhere for your son to sponge from. Stay away! It's Prison!
