Garlic Fries Addict!!!
They have these signature garlic fries that I absolutely love and get every time I go no matter what. The brunch on Sunday is definitely a go to (get the Crab Cake Benedict). I didn't think I would like it because of the eggs not being fully cooked, but it was actually delicious. Great atmosphere for dinner and small parties/mixers.

Had a great lunch here. Service was excellent and the food was out-of -this-world good. Try the crab/lobster cakes and garlic fries. Best crab I've had and I'm from Boston where we get great seafood!

A So-So Experience...At Best

My wife and I love to try out a new restaurant whenever we can, so we saw all the hoopla going on at Gordon Biersch and said "All these folks can't be wrong!" We soon found out that they surely can. The parking attendants for starters weren't necessarily rude but were very insistent that we knew the parking policy. I mean...one after the other...after the other...after the other approached us as if we were really trying to get out of paying $3 for parking. Really?

When we were finally seated we ordered the Crab and Artichoke Dip. It was great, a little soupy (less chunky), but it was really flavorful. Then we ordered our entrees, "Wait, the waiter said. We don't have any more shrimp." What? No more shrimp? I thought he was kidding. Then he says again, "Oh, no more mashed potatoes either. We're also out of the Lobster Mac and Cheese dish. No more lemonade either." I really thought he was kidding, wow. I guess the joke was on me. After having to haggle for a few minutes over our my meals - we got the Crab Cakes and the Flatiron steak over fries. Both dishes were, umm, so-so at best. And I mean at best. I was trying not to show my disappointment because who wants to be a killjoy when you're trying to enjoy a nice night out with your better half after a hard week's work? But damn! Gimme a break!

At least the waiter was a nice enough guy and he did give my wife a free ginger ale since they were out of lemonade. How do you run out of lemonade again? I mean, get some lemons and add some Ade...or something like that. The brownie and ice cream for desert was the best part of the meal, which we regretted to admit. Wish we had a better experience as first timers there. But believe me when I say, they don't have to worry about haggling for entrees with us again.

Overpriced for the level of quality... the food was good, but not THAT good. Being I am not old enough I didn't get the chance to try their home-brewed beers. Those might make up for it but I seriously doubt it.

I have been to GB on numerous occasions. Was one of the more popular hangouts while I was in college and then after graduation, we organized recruiting events there. Primarily because of a great location, atmosphere, food and crowd.
