Disclaimer: George Gary is my neighbor. But I don't think that's the only reason they're so good at heating/AC repair. I think it's because they're smart and honest. Fixing a broken furnace can be hard physical work, and always with a generous ration of tricky troubleshooting. GGMD is careful, thorough, and knowledgeable. Oh, and busy. Meaning: it may be a day before they can get to you. Unfortunate, if your furnace is on the blink, but there you go.

This guy will tell you straight up what you need, explain any options, and does not have any upselling or hidden costs. And if you want to learn a little about HVAC while you're at it, just ask!

I have used George for repairs on two different air conditioning units this summer. Previously, I had used larger companies for air conditioning repairs. I'm glad I found him. He is prompt, thorough, and very honest. The control panel was fried on one of our units and we needed to order another and wait for it to come in. But I had company coming the next day and needed it fixed. He stayed late to do a work-around and get my air working before guests arrived, then came back later to replace the panel. He is a locally owned business and just a stand-up guy. I highly recommend using his company.
