I've got one word, Ghetto! If you have 60 dollars, trust me when I say you should save $40 more and head to the any high end salon or a less expensive salon. At least there their hair stylist will listen to what you want done with your hair.



Long story short, I do not want my hair flat ironed... EVER! I made that clear. The stylist, Jazzman, flat ironed my hair bone straight and then tried to put curls in my hair. When I complained, she played dumb! Like I don't know my hair after 40 years of living. OK.



What she don't know is that Afro Sheen was the only thing around back in the 70's today, that is a junk product but my hair curled then... What is the problem with the so called high end products at Genesis Hair Art???



So, she rewashed my hair... Put me under the dryer without a drop of product on my hair. WHO DRIES AFRICAN AMERICAN HAIR WITH NO PRODUCT? NO OIL honey, not even a shot of setting lotion!!!



When I complained about getting my hair dried with no product.. She says to me, what do you want me to do? Then she told me she was not going to do my hair and I had to wait for someone who had two customers ahead of me. I got to this salon at 10:15 am it was now 2:30 pm, really!



I got in my car, drove to Buckhead, the JSpot. They got me in, did not use a flat iron on my hair as I requested, and got me out.... The price, $110.00, with tip and worth every dime.



I had a red carpet event where I got the opportunity to interview an Academy Award Winning Director and Actor... And you want to send me off with no product in my hair in this Atlanta Heat.....REALLY!



Girls.... save your money, and avoid the GHETTO service you will get here.

Because of this crap, I did not have time to put on my makeup, get dressed, I had to go home and bolt out to the JSpot. Who treats their clients like this? WOW



Which look do you prefer? Why run the risk?



Don't waste your time or your money. Go to a salon that will listen and give you what you want, for your money, that you work for. Not some ghetto, poverty argument when it's not what you want.
