Railcar Management provides a variety of information technology services and e-commerce solutions to railroads, rail shippers and railcar leasing companies throughout North America. Its solutions are designed to manage rail operations, improve customer service and reduce costs. RMI's services are branded as RailConnect and ShipperConnect and are delivered via the Internet and other high-speed connections. The RailConnect and ShipperConnect suites of services are modular and transaction-based, making them robust enough to run the largest regional railroad, yet flexible and affordable enough for the smallest short line. RailConnect and ShipperConnect run from two secure data centers, and all systems are "mirrored" for disaster recovery and business continuity.
