This store is amazing! I got quality fabric and great service at a fantastic price. I made two bridesmaid's dresses for under $50. The dresses look wonderful and the full skirts drape beautifully. I live in Indiana, and it was worth the drive for me. I could not find what I wanted anywhere here.

A huge step up from craft stores like Joann's. The selection of beautiful, unique fabrics is so amazing. I felt so inspired by the prints and all the lace! I spent a little more on the specialty fabric than if I had been able to get it at a craft store, but the point is that those stores don't have the selection or quality that Gail K's does. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. You do have to search a bit, but it's like being a kid in a candy store.

Gail's is a wonderful shop with a PLETHORA of unique fabrics to choose from! I had the unfortunate task of finding an exact match to an off-white peachy-ish nudey tope beige chiffon for my prom dress. As impossible as I thought the task was, gail and other employees gave me great advice and helped me find a color that was a PERFECT match. I was thrilled. Go here BEFORE you visit any other generic, over-priced store. They honestly do have everything. The fabrics were prime quality.. and where else can I get three yards of silk chiffon for eleven bucks? In love.

You can't find anyone to help you with the fabrics, but they'll be right there to harass you about bringing in a bottled water. The sign says "No open drinks." So what's your problem with a CLOSED bottle of water? And where were you when I was trying to make a selection or discover prices? Shop here if you're a pretentious hobbyist with money to burn (yes, they really ARE charging $80/yd for that wool fabric) and already know what you are looking for, and know all their stock, because they sure don't know what they have there, and wouldn't help you if they did. They told me that their wool was on the other side of the store from where it actually was, and did not explain the differences between the different types of silks. I know some, but not others, and was confused by their terminology. I think they took this as a signal to disappear and not talk to me again unless it was to bother me about the bottled drink that I was conscientiously not drinking while in their stupid, pretentious store.



It would be nice if you could find their selection in a store where the staff were not rude or indifferent and would actually bother to take the time to sell you their products. The selection is professional, but the idiots who run this place are strictly amateur night.

They have everything you'll every need to create that one of a kind outfit for any occassion and the prices are great.

I purchased an average looking, inexpensive dinner suit to wear on my wedding day. Since my taste in style is classically extraordinary, I visited Gail K Fabrics to purchase accessories that would take it up a notch. Through the help of one of the Gail K service reps, I purchase pearled lace to tack on to the collar & cuffs and unusually gorgeous pearlized buttons for the custom fitted jacket. The representative cut the lace for me, pinned it down and instructed me on how to sew it on myself instead of taking it to a tailor.The suit was gorgeous on my wedding day and I give the credit to the folks at Gail K Fabrics. The lace and buttons cost more than the price of the suit however, it was worth every penny and I would do it again.
