Douglass High School is a magnet school that offers educational services to more than 1,800 students in grades 9 through 12. Located in Atlanta, its curriculum is based on the International Baccalaureate program. The school is a part of Atlanta Public Schools, which is one of the largest school systems in Georgia that operates more than 100 educational institutions and has a combined enrollment of over 50,000 students. Douglass High School maintains a parent-teacher association that works to strengthen public education through parent and community involvement. It also offers meal, health care, transpiration and guidance counseling services to its students.
