Family Ties is a social services organization that offers community-based services and programs The Department of Family and Children Services and Department of Human Resources are governmental agencies administered by Fulton County and the state of Georgia. Family Ties is a nonprofit community-based service and program organization that works in conjunction with these government agencies. It provides a variety of services for the rehabilitation and intervention of children, adolescents and their families. Family Ties accepts referrals from juvenile courts, hospitals, psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, social workers and school administrators. In addition, the organization offers behavior modification, community recreation, independent living skills, medication monitoring and parenting skills development and counseling. It also provides in-home case management and intensive therapy, domestic violence and parenting assessments, and educational and motivational support.
