Emory University School of Medicine, a component of Emory s Robert W. Woodruff Health Sciences Center, is an institution for biomedical education. It is accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the Association of American Medical Colleges. The facility includes the Woodruff Memorial Research Building, the Rollins Research Center, the Winship Cancer Institute, the vaccine research center and the Whitehead Memorial Research Building. Emory University School of Medicine, located in Atlanta, offers treatment and research in various specialty areas, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, renal diseases, ophthalmology and geriatrics. The school provides more than 70 accredited primary care and specialty medicine programs. Students are also offered Master of Science in clinical research degree through a joint program with the Rollins School of Public Health.
