Well, ripping off the tourist is one thing but a restaurant that does bad things to its regulars will soon be gone. We ordered take out, a slab of ribs with two sides, slaw and stew.
When we opened our dinner the ribs were swimming in sauce. When we bit into our dinner we soon discovered the reason for all the sauce. The ribs were burned, fat, and thoroughly dried out. They were so tough I could not even chew them. The stew turned out to be baked beans swimming in sugar. The cold slaw was acceptable, nothing great. The bread was a disappointing loaf bread. The tab was $30. I could have just chewed the money and gotten just as much nourishment and pleasure from it. When we called to speak to the owner about our experience, he said “got a receipt?” Of course he failed to provide one with our cash purchase.

I got the rib tip plate with two sides fried okra and fried zucchini with cornbread don't even know where to start the rib tips was 90% cartilage and some bones the little bit of meat that was on there tasted a few days old. Zucchini with and deep-fried burnt on the outside still cold on the inside same with the okra and you could taste the freezer burn. The corn bread was super Saudi on the outside but then kind of rock hard still on the inside $20 for one person will not go back rude individuals working except for the gentleman
