"Patient Beware". No bedside manner. My five year old son needed stitches on Tuesday. He had the most tramatic experience ever. He had to have 6-8 shots of Lidocaine, 3 office assistants try to hold him down and ultimately he got 6 stitches in his chin. Trained professionasl running a family center should not have to lay across a five year old's chest to restrain him..until he screams he can't breath. In addition, if a patient tells you, he can still feel pain...NOTE: BELIEVE HIM...EVEN IF HE IS JUST FIVE. The incorrect thing to do, would be to proceed and have your patient nearly jump off your table when you stick a suture needle into his un-numbed skin!!!! Absolutely, tramatic. My advice, go somewhere else. Do not subject yourself or your family members to an experience like this one.
