wow!

When I first came to buckhead diner and looked at the menu I thought "Ugh! Nothing looks good" but I am a picky eater just ask my mom! Then I saw short ribs with carrots slim beans mashed potatoes and au jus. I never had had ribs before so I did not know what they would be like. It was absolutley DELICIOUS!!!!! My aunt, Mom, and I loved them! I highly suggest them in every way! From now on I will go there every time I visit Atlanta!

Not your typical diner, but da...

Not your typical diner, but dang, this food is good! Its pricy but worth it. Go sort of casual or dressy, doesn't matter, though many prefer the former. It is a diner after all, but not like any diner you've been to. Its gourmet.

Old Reliable

There are certainly fancier, and even better restaurants in Atlanta, but for consistency and reliability you'd be hard-pressed to find anything better than the Buckhead Diner.

The menu is filled with comfort food items like the signature homemade potato chips with Maytag blue cheese and veal meatloaf with wild mushrooms. In case your arteries aren't completely clogged by the end of dinner try the white chocolate banana creme pie.

Something you must know: They DO NOT take reservations. The site offers priority seating, but it pretty much is useless. Plan a 30-45 minute wait during peak hours.

Local favorite in Atlanta

A very large menu, don't be fooled by the name, it is less "diner" in the Mel's Diner since, more really nice restaurant. You have to valet park your car, then you will be met at the front by staff in suits, and your server will treat you with at least 3 star service. The desserts are wonderful, and HUGE - big enough to share. Try the blue cheese chips, they were great and are one of their signature items.

One of the places to be seen in Atlanta.

Great food, a little pricey, but worth it. It's a great place for people watching.
