Dropped off a watch for a simple battery replacement. No receipt or ticket was provided for the watch.

When I picked it up, the guy said "the hands are a little messed up"

Turns out he broke one of the chronograph buttons. As the chronograph was running when the watch was returned, it is very likely he did a quick functional check after closing the case and noticed the chronograph could not be stopped due to the broken chronograph button.

The overall demeanor and professionalism of the Bower's staff was not unlike McDonald's cashiers.

Made a special trip to Bower's hoping to avoid getting my watch messed up by an irresponsible incompetent teenager at a mall watch shop.

Face-palm.

I recently inherited my father's automatic wristwatch, as well as my grandfather's Seiko. Both needed some tender loving care to get back up to speed. After doing some research on my own, I was surprised to find that Bowers was able to procure parts for the obscure automatic, let alone repair it! The Seiko just needed a new battery and an extension for the band. They took good care of my heirlooms, and I look forward to doing business with them again in the future."

. My husband and I have used Bower for almost 15 years. They are knowledgeable, professional, and above all, reasonable. Whether slipping in a new battery or completing a complex repair, they are expert and fast, honest and ethical. They perform many small acts at "no charge" as part of one of the most remarkable customer experiences I've enjoyed in any establishment. They are, simply, the best.

Bowers clock repair could do a better job with communication, when they say they will call in a couple of days they should. Shame on them for leaving me waiting 5 weeks and my clock was still sitting on the counter where I left it untouched !!! needless to say I took my clock back and will find someone else.

This place is everything you want or could expect from a small business. Personable, responsive, honest, and customer service is tops. They can fix anything from high end watches to antique clocks. If you need a watch or clock repair I highly recommend you take it to them first.
