Definitely tree specialists at Boutte Tree, located in the Westside and servicing the entire Atlanta area. We had them clear large tree branches from around our roof, which their work was done promptly and their people were very professional. They also gave us good advice about the tree they were cutting back and explained the danger of the overall health of the tree. Great to know!

This team was absolutely amazing! From the sales consultant to the climbing team, everyone - every single person - showed how much they truly cared about my goals (house protection, more sun, etc) as they did about the health of the trees! A few things I wanted done they recommended against, in order to keep the trees strong and healthy. They weren't just going to hack up the tree and hope it worked. Decades of climbing and cutting made me very confident in their recommendations! And it looks gorgeous.



The consult was painless, no sales pressure or anything like that, which was a nice change... The wait time to have the trees taken down was about standard from the other companies I met. The price was several hundred below a very well known competitor and I'm just thrilled at the overall service. There wasn't a stray branch left on the property, the crew was courteous and just a real pleasure to work with. Very well done to the team at Boutte Tree. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Be very aware that they ignore all instructions provided by the property owner. I hired Boutte to prune a tree that was leaning considerably over a cottage on a rental property. I sent them a photograph of the tree in question, leaving absolutely no room for error. I gave them very specific instructions about the tree location, the way to access it, gave them the phone number of the neighbor to gain access to her driveway for the removal (the only possible way to reach the tree). They ignored all of my instructions and failed to give the photograph to the estimator. They didn't contact the neighbor to confirm the correct location of the tree as I had instructed. They didn't access the tree utilizing the neighbor's driveway, which was key to the location. They worked on the wrong tree. I signed a contract that I believed was written based on all of the detailed information that I'd given them, including the photograph of the tree in question. Unaware to me, the document that I signed was not based on any of that information. If the contract had begun with, "Ignoring all of the details and information that you provided us, we are asking you to sign the following contract..." I would have never signed it. They blamed me for the error when I protested and they threatened a lien on the property until the bill was paid. If I didn't live on the west coast, I would have filed a lawsuit against them. Instead, I paid 50% of the invoice and sought another company to do the work that I'd contracted them to do. I thought that their bid, being the highest of the four that I'd received, meant a greater level of professionalism. I was grossly mistaken.

Recently bought a home in ATL and needed our trees checked and cared for. Called Boutte and received excellent service from start to finish. Did exactly what I asked and explained what they were doing. Left the yard, driveway and street cleaner than before they arrived.

Great job on taking down damaged trees on our street. Professional, careful and courteous. They cleaned up the driveway and work areas well.
