Benjamin Banniker High School, located in Atlanta, is part of the Fulton County School District. A college preparatory school, it offers classes in grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,550 students. It provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. It has been recognized as a National School of Excellence and Georgia School of Excellence. Students are involved in the life of their school, participating in student government, academic competitions, community service and a variety of student-interest organizations. It offers many team and individual sports, including football, volleyball, basketball, track and tennis.
