I recently engaged Atlanta Furniture Restoration to repair the frames on eight forty five year old dining room chairs, one wing chair and an antique small bench. The work was done to perfection, and returned to me within the two week time frame originally promised. I could not be more pleased and Al Endel was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Atlanta Furniture Restoration!

Al and his team did an excellent job on a 80 yr old Asian teak coffee table that my Dad who was in WWII brought back from Asia- it was a very important piece to me due to the history and its beauty and had recently gotten a moisture ring on the top. They did a great job and cleaned the heck out of the intricate carving on the sides. I will use them again for sure!

Al Endel is fantastic at bringing old treasures to life, by enhancing and preserving, rather than glossing over, beautiful patinas. He listens extremely well to understand the history of a piece and what it means to the owner, and then translates that to the work of art that he co-creates along with the original craftsman and the current owner. He has made things happen with furniture and works of art that I thought were impossible. He is also extremely easy to work with, a real gentleman

Al and team are truly magic. They performed such a beautiful restoration on a cradle that has been in my family for years...and was in terrible disrepair. As Al put is, It was a resurrection...not just a restoration. I would trust Atlanta Furniture Restoration with Anything!

Al completely refurbished four chairs that had great sentimental value to me and the family. The chairs were old, wobbly, coming apart and the seats & cushions were disintegrating. He did a miraculous job and I can't wait to show them off. They're usable again! He also repaired a bamboo chair with a broken leg and made it usable again also. All this in an amazingly short period of time. Happy to recommend his work!

Where was I going to get the backs of 4 dining room chairs re-caned? The place I had taken some chairs a few years ago went out of business and I was stumped. I didn't want to get rid of the chairs and buy new ones since they had belonged to my husband's parents and had sentimental value.

Fortunately, I found Al at Atlanta Furniture Restoration. He met me at his shop in Chamblee and showed me around. Al has a showroom with some furniture and antiques for sale. More interesting to me, Al has a big workroom where he and others do the work.

Al was very specific about exactly what work he was going to do on the chairs. I didn't want to pay extra for him to stain the recaning work and we agreed on that. The chairs were completed in just a few days. I am very pleased with the quality of the workmanship!

I have used Atlanta Furniture Restoration in Chamblee for many years. I find their work to be excellent. I haveantique items from Ireland which this store has worked on and sometimes instead of a refinishing job which I thought was necessary, they will clean and polish and return it almost like the original 100 year old piece.

At present they are working on Chippendale chairs c. 1880 – replacing the torn calf leather seats. I would be hesitant to give these precious items to anyone I didn’t have the trust in to handle this job

I took a table into Al that has been in my family for over 60yrs. It wasn't in horrendous shape, but it was a little wobbly & was showing the years. Al had the work completed in less than a week & the table was sturdier than I had ever seen it, and looked like it was brand new. It was my 1st time doing business w/Al, but it won't be the last.

Oustanding workmanship at a very reasonable price...

Performed "Magic"

Al is a person you could speak to all day, and his shop is one you could look in all day. I just picked-up 2 chairs he repaired for me. On one, I should say he completely re-built! This is a discontinued Henredon which my son broke. He must have been leaning back on the legs, because the back totally split from the seat, and one leg broke into pieces. I brought it to Al in a garbage bag in 2 large pieces and a baggie with the other pieces we could find. I didn't think it was repairable, but Al assured me they could do it. I mean it when I say they "performed magic!" This chair has been placed into perfect condition ~ I can't see where a single repair was made, nor even tell which leg had splintered into pieces! Oops, I didn't realize how long I have been going on, but I want to mention the second chair. It is a nice brand, but the pieces attaching to the back were coming out. They are quite visible, and part of the decor of the chair. Once again, they were able to save this chair for me, with no evidence of repair ~ Beautiful!

I highly recommend Atlanta Furniture Restoration for any repairs, restorations. Even if you don't think it can be done, take it to Al and see. He is very professional and a delight to work with.

Beautiful work done professionally

I have known Al Endel of Atlanta Furniture Restoration since 1969. He is both honest and very professional and does excellent refinishing. He takes the time to tell you what needs to be done to your furniture and clearly explains exactly what he is going to do.

He has done many projects for me over the years including restoring an eight foot antique library table as well as re-building six of my dining room chairs and putting new upholstered seats on them. He knows how to make any antique or piece of furniture look like it did originally or even better. He approaches his work as an artist and takes the time to produce beautiful , exceptionally high quality work.

I highly recommend Atlanta Furniture Restoration!

Excellent Furniture Restoration Job

I recently had an antique desk refinished by Atlanta Furniture Restoration. The price was very fair based on other estimates that I received, and the workmanship was excellent. Al Endel is truly an expert in this type of work. The desk has been restored to the beautiful antique that it truly is. I have already referred the company to several friends, and recommend them very highly.
