I recently underwent surgery for the removal of most of my eye. I was given the choice of several prosthetic eye companies in Atlanta and after speaking with the staff at Atlanta Eye Prosthetics I was put at ease that I might actually feel like it was okay to look in the mirror again.

Tony is my occularist and from the second I met him I knew I was with the right person. He is friendly and welcoming and even though he's easy to talk to, I will admit that at my first fitting appointment I started to cry knowing that I was hopefully reaching the end of a really bad road leading up to this point. He answered every question I had in both medical terms and then in "English" so that I could understand what everything actually meant.

The manager running the appointments made sure that I had reading material explaining what my process for fitting was going to include also the return care for maintenance on my eyeball. I'm incredibly grateful to have found Tony.

Very happy that God led me to this office.

MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Very unprofessional.

I went in to have a Scleral shell made. After the initial consultation there were no follow up after the shell was made, David Herndon just dropped it in the U.S. mail instead of having me come back in to check for a proper fit and color match. Once I received the shell through the mail and checking it, I had to return it back to him on 5 different occasions due to defects and fit issues. After the fifth time, I just told him to keep it and I would go elsewhere. That was a 2 month ordeal.



One would think that he would at least do a follow up to make sure everything is ok. Not a word from his office.



If someone was having a prosthetic arm or leg made. Do you think they would just drop it in the mail? No they wouldn't!
