Love the pizza & the atmosphere.

You get this vibe that makes you feel like you're in a scene waiting for Julia Roberts to appear to hand you your pie.

It can be very busy around lunch and dinner but it's totally worth the wait if there is one.

Antico’s has won numerous awards including Festa Della Pizza’s Top in Class Pizzeria and I can definitely see why! The pizza here is so delicious and is made the way authentic Italian pizza is made!

My friends and I went on a week night and ordered the Lasagna Pizza ($20) which had meatballs, ricotta, and romano as toppings (shown below). The meatballs were really flavorful and their texture went perfectly with the texture of the ricotta cheese. The crust is purposely burnt a little but is so soft and doughy. I would easily order this pizza again. My favorite though is the sofia pizza!! My friend Harry also recommended the San Gennaro and Bianca pizza!

I recommend coming here on a monday-thursday because otherwise it gets too crowded and there'll be no where to sit. It's also BYOB and community tables!

Best brick oven pizza. Loved the sausage. You sit in the kitchen area which is cool. Long lines and irreverent owner. Best pizza in Atlanta.

Best pizza anywhere! And the pasta should not be missed either but try to avoid peak lunch and dinner hours.

Best pizza in town! Honestly, I don't like pizza so much, but even I cannot resist Antico-Pizza, it is just too good. Absolute must-visit place in Atlanta.

It must be the pizza ovens because they have the best crust I have ever tasted. You can tell it come off the fire and into your mouth in minutes. If you aren't comfortable sharing a table you might not like that but I have only met nice people on my visits.

Antico Pizza has won all kinds of accolades in the short time it's been open in Atlanta. CNN has reported on it, real Italian people have said it's "Top In Class". And while it's good, I simply do not understand the hype.



Antico's website (super annoying, please get rid of the typical Dean Martin music) is about as self-aggrandizing at it gets. Italian dude inspired by pizza is sharing his gift for making pizza with us! Aren't we so grateful! Like Holeman & Finch, I don't like places that are full of themselves. This is one of those places. Yes, your authentic Italian ovens are nice. Yes, the flour you use is top quality. Yes, I know you think it's cool to say "we are open until we run out of dough." But I don't think that's cool. I think it's pretentious: you're a pizza place, not a restaurant flying in fish from New England.
