I am currently filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau in regards to Affordable Scooter Repair.

My service started in September when the only thing that needed to be fixed was my kill-switch. Given this information by "All in customs" in which I believe they are affiliated with each other. The "mechanic" says he installed a stator in which I payed $45 dollars for the part and $50 for the installation he later told me I didn't need that work done. He then said it was a solenoid starter so I purchased the part and he installed it as well, and my bike still didn't operate. This is a 3 month long process of paying for parts that didn't need to fixed touched only to pull off for the last time (on thanksgiving) for it to break down not even 1/2 a mile up the road. I alerted the mechanic that my bike sounded faulty before I even pulled out of the work area. He then argued that I needed "another" (clutch) piece for my bike to operate properly. However, if he knew I needed a clutch why didn't he just fix the clutch and the belt before calling me to come pick it up as if it was ready to roll. I'll tell you why, because 1) they take advantage of females; 2) I always see junk bikes in the shop so this tells me that the "mechanic" is stripping increment parts from customers scooters (while they believe they're being repaired) and putting them into the junk scooter to resale for profit. I've paid a total of over $200 to Affordable scooter repair to have my scooter sitting in my driveway the same way it was (if not worse) before I contacted this shady business. I really hope someone goes through this facility and audits and closes this place down. I stood outside for 4 hours on Thanksgiving waiting for a tower to transport me and my scooter home after paying $60 for a belt installation that was the supposed diagnosis for repairing my bike. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this service and I hope noone else is tricked into leaving your scooter at this shop.

Beware of this shop. I brought my scooter to this shop because it kept stalling on me. The owner claimed that a valve adjustment would fix the problem was charged $50 but did not fix the problem, the bike end up stalling on me a week later and I got stranded far away from home. the owner claimed I shouldn't have any problems with it further. However The shop wanted to charge me additional money to bring bike back to shop to look at it again. The bike again was looked at and repaired and 2 weeks later I had the same problem. I brought bike back to shop and paid additional $50 for which I was told a coil and Cdi was replaced and the bike worked for 4 days and began stalling again and wouldn't start. The owner promised to repair and never showed up. he refused to give me a refund or be responsible to get bike started despite me paying him $100 to repair the bike that only has been driven a total of 3 weeks. He doesn't stand behind his word, unprofessional and integrity is questionable.
