Horton's was assigned by the military housing office to be my mover when I was leaving Atlanta upon my retirement from the Army. I must say that from the first contact by the owner to the in home walk through also by the owner all the way through the final moving of my belongings, I have been satisfied. The moving team was very professional and motivated, showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and packing materials. The employees were easily identified by their company apparel, and were very polite and accommodating. I would recommend their company. SFC S.B., Retired

If I move again, and can choose (military usually chooses for us), I would definitely use A-1 Horton's again. Their crew arrived on time, completed my packing and actually loaded and completed my job a day early so that my family and I could head out to our next location. Their employees were very courteous and performed all services that we desired. I would highly recommend their services.

The entire crew was excellent, extremely professional, courteous, and friendly. I will recommend them highly for others and plan on requesting them when we move again.

As an LTC in the Army, I've seen my share of movers. I requested A-1 Horton's because I was familiar with their service on my General's move. The crew was on time, and came in a neat van, with all the equipment needed. They completed my packing and was very courteous while performing all services that my wife and I desired. Very excellent service. Totally at ease with crew. They worked very hard the entire time, and had a great attitude. I had complete faith in their abilities. I would definitely recommend them to others, and plan to request them again.

My shipment was stored and delivered to the local Atlanta area by A-1 Horton's. I was moved by the military contract, and with 20 plus years of government moves gives me the right to speak freely. The was the most productive and knowledgeable crew that has moved our family. Thank you again.

The military selected A-1 for my pack and move. Day #1, they were late. I called their office to see what was going on. Two guys showed up w/ a U-Haul. I have had several professional moves - never had anything like this. The guys were nice, but it was like they just came off the street. One guy was a laborer who was just picked up for the day. These are the people packing my all my belongings and this guy is not associated or screened whatsoever by A-1! They received a call their warehouse was locking up and had to go. Well, they had packed about half of my home. Not one room was completely cleared stuff was everywhere w/ some things in the truck. I told them they had to be on time the next day. I was never going to close out my townhouse at that rate. Next morning, late AGAIN! I had to call their office again. The guy in charge showed up w/ a DIFFERENT laborer. The Army paid a lot for this move; the service I received was subpar at best. If you choose A-1, best of luck!

This company came to my house to pack my furniture. The military's normal process is for the transportation company (Horton) to seal the crates prior to them departing my residence. The young man stated he didn't have all of the packing materials needed at the time. He stated he had attempted to call me 5 times to get more information on what items I would send to my destination. I feel this statement is UNACCEPTABLE. A moving company should ALWAYS come with all of the necessary shipping items. You are a moving company.
