Provided by YP.comThe Appliance Man John from Athol broke our refrigerator over 3 weeks ago and is a coward who refuses to call us back. We have been forced to use our grandkids Christmas money on a new fridge!! John has been paid in full to break our fridge and not bother to call us back. Don't use any Appliance Man franchise unless you want to be ripped off!!! Call Stasukelis they're the best. I'd give Appliance Man minus stars if I could!!

As the co-owner of this business, I find it particularly disturbing to read a review that lacks details and substance. What about our service was bad? Who was rude and what happened? Our pricing is all flat-rate, so it is very easy to compare before requesting service. I often think this type of review is planted by a competitor.

Provided by YP.comAppliance Man has done all of my repairs since I moved to Athol in 1997, and I could not be more pleased with the service. Jim and his wife have always treated me great and keep my stuff working the way they are supposed to. I have been around to see them go from a home office to one of the larger stores in downtown. They have had a few staffing issues, but now that Jim is on site again everything has been fabulous. My Miele vacuum came from Appliance Man and I just love it. If your appliances are broken, call Jim.

Provided by YP.comsign on front door says back in 5 mins, five customers all at the same time sit and wait for 35 mins while the employee plays on computer as we can see him through the window. Part was promised to be there today, was told might be in tomorrow. Service is just as bad as Suzor Electronics, no place around these towns that are any good, wishI could give it zero stars for both places
As a co-owner of this business, I would like to speak to you about your experience with Appliance Man. I appreciate that you took the time to post your review, however it would be more helpful to everyone if you would discuss any problems with an owner: myself of my husband Jim. Since there is usually only one person on site, we use the 5 minute sign for bathroom breaks. I myself have returned from such a break and have forgotten to remove the sign, and I do apologize if this happened to you. "Plays" on the computer" is most certainly "working" on the computer, since we do a tremendous amount of parts look up and ordering online. It goes against our company policy to "promise" parts as the manufacturers, distributors and delivery companies all play a part and we have no control over them. We always tell people when we EXPECT parts, but never promise. I would appreciate it if you would call me or Jim regarding this. We have built our business on word-of-mouth referrals and take great pride in providing excellent service. We want and expect everyone to have a pleasant experience. Thank you. The guy was able to come out that day, fixed my dryer on the spot, ordered a pump for my dishwasher and came back two days later to fix that. The prices were fair, and I got a discount for the second repair. The people were nice and I would definitely call them again.
