Food was disgusting, service was awful, and it's not a very clean place. Would not recommend. I'll never pay this place for their "food" again. Their staff is very impolite, and their "food" is not all that it's hyped up to be. I was not satisfied the outcome of my dinner at Yamato, and I will not eat there again.

I had a horrible experience here. The food was fine, but the service was awful. The woman who took my order was very hateful. When they got my order wrong, and I asked the woman to help me, she acted like I was being ridiculous. They were all very rude. I will definitely never go back.

Terrible experience. Disgusting food, the owner is flat out RUDE!! I highly recommended finding somewhere else to eat.

I had the Teriyaki Steak Bento, which came with a small salad, your choice of miso soup or onion soup, and Steak and onions, they asked how I'd like the steak cooked, medium rare was my preference. It also came with fried rice, a spring roll, and four pieces of California roll sushi. I had the miso soup. It was decent but I tried a friends onion soup and liked it much more. Both were very light. The salad was small, fresh, and satisfying. The steak was tender and delicious, cooked just how I asked. The rice was not to dry and had more flavor on its own than anticipated. The springroll was small and ok. The sushi was delicious and fresh, but I'm not a sushi expert. My friends had the habachi chicken and beeftip combo, and the Teriyaki shrimp bento, which they both loved. The service was a quick and our drinks stayed full. For Athens, I'd say this place is really good quality and I will go again. Going back today with my father in fact.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Athens. I've never had a bad meal here. The sushi is wonderful!
