When we went, the parking lot was so crowded. It's a new restaurant in Athens, and we expected it to be so. The servers were friendly and the food was great.

I love the new Athens Cracker Barrel! Same great quality I have known.Good country cooking. Makes you feel like you're back at grandma'e house for Sunday dinner everyday of the week.The wait staff are courteous and helpful. Food is always hot and fresh. Vegetables taste like they just came from the garden. Can't say enough about the homemade biscuits and cornbread. The specials are big portions, not skimpy lunch size portions like you expect at other restaraunts.A joy to be able to browse the country store while you wait to be seated.The old fashioned candy that is hard to find nowdays is a real blast from the past.Makes you think back to your childhood each time you go into the store. Brings back such fond memories.Makes you want to call all your friends and family to come and share a meal with you. I am so happy that Athens finally got a Cracker Barrel.It will be a big part of my dining routine for years to come.
