Athens Central Services Department s mission is to provide efficient, dependable and economical business support services to its employees and the public in the areas of administrative functions, public health and safety, building services, public records and parking. Through its landscape management division, the department provides landscaping services to public buildings, parks and rights-of-way in Athens-Clarke County, Ga. It is responsibility to mow all public rights-of-way in the county, with the exception of those on state roads. The department maintains the landscaping of athletic fields and most of the recreational parks. Athens Central Services Department s animal control division provides public safety from dangerous or seriously sick animals and at-large dogs. Athens Central Services Department is located in Athens, Ga.
