I've had 5 knee surgeries and for the last 3 I had my PT at Astoria Physical Therapy. The first 2 were long recoveries with return to only average levels of range of motion and strength. The last 3 with Marland Armstrong as my therapist? WE have exceeded the doctor's expectations. This past surgery, 3/3/16 was one of a LOT of pain. New surgeon. But Marland had given me the treatment and tools to already have a totally straight extension and 136 degrees of bend. My surgeon would have been content with 120 at the end of April. I can't wait to see him today for my last post op visit and see just what he says. I think he will pat himself on the back but my husband and I KNOW it was mostly Marland who made it happen. The tools he gave me during my last 2 recoveries helped me prepare for an excellent recovery! And his office staff is also excellent for appointments, dealing with the insurance companies, and making it hassle free for me. Excellent people who really care!
