The Cornerstone offers a refreshing menu, with some less run of the mill offerings. If you're tired of the same old, check out the Cornerstone. Try the mac and cheese, one of the sandwiches, or a salad (my favorite). Salads are super fresh, well balanced, and satisfying, The chicken on my salad was perfectly cooked - well seasoned, juicy, tender.



As far as atmosphere goes, I think the restaurant misses the mark just a bit. While it is clear a serious effort was put forth in the remodeling, some aspects of the decor is tacky and does not measure up to the quality of the food.



This restaurant is a great addition to the area. Go and enjoy lunch, dinner, or drinks.

My hubby and I ate here the other night and had a really great meal. The food was good and the wait staff was really friendly.

If you want great food and a great atmosphere, this is the place to be. All entries are under $20 and they have a great wine list. I had the salmon with mashed potatoes and leeks; it melted in my mouth! For desert I had the ice cream sandwich. It was so good I ate the whole thing! You definitely can't get food, wine, and desert like this anywhere else in Pittsburgh.

If you want a nice atmosphere for a few drinks on a weeknight, I would say that this is a good place. Otherwise STAY AWAY. They did a great job of renovating that building, but then added cheesy wall decor. The meals are blah. I paid $9 for some spring mix lettuce and a few grilled vegetables. The crostini appetizer was tasty, but sparse. I was very disappointed when I spend $60.00 and left hungry! They need to step it up or they are going to end up like the former restaurants in that building.
