"Truly Beware" This is a true statement. "TRULY BEWARE" of people who do not appreciate a true 5-Star Day Spa that specializes in providing excellence in services to their guests. I have traveled from east coast to west coast, and the Blue Giraffe has a staff that brings to their guests the up-most professionalism and provides treatments that rival most "Top Ten" spa destinations. The Blue Giraffe is elegant and relaxing where one can come to be pampered and treated like a King or Queen. I will continue to support the Blue Giraffe for their outstanding services and spa treatments. "TRULY BEWARE" of people who do not fully understand, or who are incapable of recognizing a true, wonderful spa experience.

Remember when you are reading the negative comments, you are only getting one side of the whole picture.. I know who posted the negative comment about having their skin damaged, at The Blue Giraffe Day Spa Salon. It's unfortunate that this happened to this particular person, however that is why it is so important to be honest whenever you are getting a treatment, whether it be a massage, facial or other services. If you do not disclose to your technician what products that you are using, when asked, there is no way for them to know. If you answer questions dishonestly, it is highly probably that something negative can happen to your skin as a result from the treatment. I know for a fact that this person, was over compensated for their negative experience financially, by the owner, just because he is a good person, and he sympathized with her life situation. I honestly have not ever written a review of anywhere good or bad, however, my experience with the Blue Giraffe has inspired me to do so. Negligence of the staff actually caused damage to skin...then only more horrible treatment ensued. Several of the of the employees were kind and professional, however, others were cold and even condescending. After the damage was done the owner made promises and then lied repeatedly. He reminded me of a used car salesman! He is silver tongued, yet, without regard for anyone except what is in their wallet. Please please do not support this establishment.

When I want to get a massage, I know exactly where to go. I grew up in Ashland, OR and this is by far the best place to get a massage. The Blue Giraffe has a very intimate atmosphere. When you go to get your massage, they take you to their secret and tucked away lobby area, you get to pick a cubby to store your clothes when you put your comfortable robe on, and then get pampered while waiting for your massage. This part of the experience alone is worthy of a service price. They whisk you away to your excellent massage, or bath. My favorite thing was getting a chair massage, a bath, and a steam, all for under $45. When the holidays, or birthdays, come around I love getting a massage or two for my loved ones. Highly recommended.

I recieved a gift certificate a couple years ago, and I have been going back every chance I get. I had two differant messages, and they were excellant, the service is great, and Jenn does the best facials! Would highly recommend!!

The Blue Giraffe is just wonderful. They great you with warmth and kindness, the staff is very professional and comforting. I would not go anywhere else. Coming from Santa Barbara I know how customers should be treated and the Blue Giraffe is just the best!The owners are hands on and genuinely care about their clients. I send all my friends and family there, even though Ashland has many spas. I don'y waste my time anywhere else, they are the best.Best Hair stylists in town!!

live in Ashland, and have been going to the Blue G for years - wouldn't have my services done anywhere else. I always feel like Queen For A Day when I walk in ... from the warm neck wrap, foot bath and tea I'm treated to as soon as I enter the lounge area to the customized care in the massage and facials rooms to the perfect mani/pedi that somehow manages to last weeks, this place is my de-stress paradise. The staff are as helpful and friendly as they can be ... and - as a counterbalance to an earlier reviewer, I purchase gift certificates here for my friends and family ALL THE TIME and have never once had a bad experience. They certainly are not a 'scam'.If you're booking for a massage you should definitely ask for Grace. For a tiny little thing she's can really apply the pressure when your muscle knots are being stubborn. And Jennifer, who's kind of new, gives a facial so relaxing you feel like you could fall asleep on the table. :-)

There's no place like the Blue Giraffe Spa in Ashland for great atmosphere and phenomenal treatments. I've had the half hour foot reflexology, the mini facial (which includes amazing shoulder and neck massage) and the spa pedicure. Everything was outstanding and the staff are friendly and there to serve you. I ask for a gift certificate every year for my birthday. I treated my girlfriend to a spa day for her 40th birthday and they gave her a free gift in addition. Treat yourself to a glass of wine, relaxing atmosphere and the ultimate treats!

I would highly recommend the Blue Giraffe Day Spa & Salon to anyone who asks. They have never given me anything but excellent service and have great stylists.

I just had a wonderful massage today at the Blue Giraffe!! Took some time off of work and treated myself. My first time in there, the staff was friendly and my massage therapist made me feel great, glad I took the time for myself. Thanks Ya'll!

One of the best places in Ashland. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I believe that they are worth it. They have a beautiful place and VERY nice people working there. They also send me discounts all the time through Facebook making it even cheaper which is great!

I also bought a gift certificate for a friend, and they refused to honor it when they went in. Told me it had already been redeemed. If that is true, then how did she still have the flippin gift certificate in her possession? I know my friend, and she is not a liar. My money was stolen...and my friend was humiliated when she went in. Thanks for nothing guys....‎

DO NOT buy anything from Blue Girraffe Spa in Ashland. They are crooks, they treat their customers as if they do not care. I purchased a gift certificate for a friend, and they would not honor it when she went in. They tell me that her certificate was not prepared properly (they are the ones who prepare them). They refuse to give me the service I purchased, but kindly offered me a 30% discount. I want what I paid for. Have filed a report wirth the better business bureau, and am seeking other websites where I can warn people.‎

Not to be confused with Ashland's Blue Dragon bookstore, the Blue Dragon Day Span offers great massage, facial and mani-pedicure packages when you need a spa day. There's an in-house hair salon and specuialty and couples packages as well. Take a spa day.

I took my daughter to The Blue Giraffe Day Spa Salon for her birthday. We don't live very close, & I'm disabled, but we wanted to spend some quality, fun time together. She lives right by the Blue Giraffe Day Spa Salon, but before we decided on going there, we checked out other spas in her area. We decided on The Blue Giraffe because their prices were right, and they were able to accommodate me being disabled. We both had facials, and manicures & pedicures. We had a terrific time. we enjoyed the time we spent together the best. The facials were great, but then they got us both in at the same time so we could have our manicures & pedicures together. That was the best. The women who did our nails were very nice, and we felt comfortable right away. After we were done, we both felt refreshed, and very pretty. People even commented on how well we our faces & nails looked. This was by far one of the best birthdays my daughter & I spent together, & we need to thank the Blue Giraffe.

They have a lady named Sarah who gives the best therapeutic, relaxing facial
