Ashland-Greenwood Public Schools is a school district that been in operation since 1866 and is located in Ashland, Neb. The district s elementary school offers phonetic learning of English language, music, dance and mathematics and provides field trips and choir programs. The curriculum for the middle and high school comprises of mathematics, social studies, science, fine and performing arts, instrumental music, health and physical education and vocational programs. The school district offers various extracurricular activities including volleyball, basketball, football and wrestling and has student councils as well. The school district operates a federally approved hot lunch program as per the guidelines established by the Nebraska Department of Education and offers transportation and nursing services.
