As such we offer a variety of medical services to provide state of the art, current diagnostics, surgical, and treatment options. We also work with professional laboratories to perform all tests and analyze samples that cannot be completed in-house to provide timely and accurate diagnosis for ailing patients. We provide referrals to area specialists for specialty and alternative surgical and diagnostic needs as well. One of our main focuses for your pets health is client education, which provides pet owners with the essential tools needed to make proper nutritional and medical choices for their companions. All of the staff at the Cat Care Clinic of Asheville is knowledgeable and well versed on many pet-ownership needs and concerns and are more than happy to converse with clients.

Provided by YP.comWhat an wonderful experience I had with this vet. They took such gentle care with my cat who was very stressed. They spoke quietly, held him calmly in a towel and drew blood so easily he didn't even notice. They did all they could to keep him calm and help him. They even let me stay with him until he was fully sedated for surgery. They love what they do and love cats here. Dr. Carnohan is extremely knowledgeable and understands and loves cats. My boy is so much better off for the experience with her and I am happy I found her. thank you Dr. Carnohan!

- The Cat Care Clinic of Asheville was founded by Dr. Kathy Remsberg in 1996 and, over the years, the Asheville cat community has had a place to bring their cats to receive the specialized care they need. In August of 2013, Dr. Remsberg decided to sell the clinic and move closer to her family in Michigan. She handed over the reins to Dr. Karel Carnohan who loaded up her RV with 13 cats, a dog and a parrot and moved to Asheville from Vancouver, British Columbia. Passionate about cats and their special needs, Dr. Karel is honored to have been given the chance to serve the Asheville cat community.
