We requested a quote for some work. The person who showed up took pictures of some of the items we requested to be quoted. Other items we requested to be quoted he touched and said "look I fixed it". We never heard back from them so we went with a different company for the work. Seven months later we got a call from a bill collector saying we owed money for work performed by John Babcock plumbing. We hadn't received any bill during the seven months that we could have discussed/disputed or even a phone call (they had our phone numbers). The receptionist was very rude when we called to dispute the charge and eventually screened our calls to avoid talking to us. We were told we had a month to pay (even without receiving a bill) otherwise our credit score would be affected. The bill collector (a personal friend of John Babcock by his claim) said we owed money for the items the guy touched while in the house. Avoid this company.
