Chris came out within 24 hours of our call. Good service, pleasant to work with. Fair price!

They installed my neighbor’s fence / gate and a small section of fencing for me and my gate (same product). Our gate never seemed very sturdy but I just kept tightening it. It fell down once, and I had to put it back up because it slipped of the hinge. It fell off the hinge a second time and I had to put it back on. I took a look at how my neighbor’s gate was installed and it was easy to see they did not install it correctly, or at least the same way. I contacted Chris the owner about this and his response was:

“That job I believe was done through Lowe’s. You would have to call them up. I no longer contract through Lowe’s. I’m sorry.”

It has nothing to do with who contracted him, it has to do with workmanship and standing behind your work. If this very heavy gate had fallen on my wife or young daughter, they would have been seriously hurt. All he had to do was come by and take a look and if need be, give me an estimate to fix it, but instead, he just raised his hands and walked away.

Regretfully I cannot upload a photo, or you would clearly see what the problem is.

My fence installed in June 2019, has broken pickets, a gate that does not close properly and pickets where the nail is off to the side (not even nailed in). I expressed my concerns to the owner of the company but have only received reasons by the wood has warped. My concerns are not about the warped pickets, which are many and look terrible. My concerns are for the cracked and broken pickets, the poorly constructed gate, and the pickets that only have one nail on the top with another nail in-between pickets. The owner has told me that there is nothing else he can do. I am very disappointed with the poor craftsmanship and Mr. Lucero's unwillingness to do the right thing.

A month ago, mine was the house that was the eyesore of the neighborhood, and it was all due to a failing, rotting, just-plain-ugly fence. It was past the point of repair, and a new fence was the only option. After a great deal of research, I was fortunate to find Lucero Fencing. Chris Lucero came out and looked at the project. Chris is professional, understanding, and a downright nice man. He assured me that they would do an awesome job, and that I would be pleased. I am beyond pleased. My fence is a 6' vinyl privacy, to enclose nearly an acre of backyard, and it is much needed to keep my dogs in and the prying eyes of my next door neighbor out. I chose my fence type, had a few trees cut down, since they were an impediment, and the work began. Since it was such a large area to enclose, the project took nearly 3 weeks, but now that it has been completed, it was well worth the wait. Chris, Travis and Matthew did all that they promised. The fence is beyond fantastic, and my yard is now the prettiest in the neighborhood. I definitely have the best looking fence. What a difference!I highly recommend the services of Lucero Fence Company, I am so happy that I chose them to do the work, and I will make it a point to show pictures of my fence to everyone I meet. I would like to know that I helped such a superior company get more business. If fencing of any type is what you need, I am certain Lucero Fence Company can get the job done.
