Brought a 2007 Hyundai tiburon in
Several years ago. Transmission was slipping shifting into 3rd gear.
Was told the transmission needed to be rebuilt. So they rebuild the transmission (supposedly)
Then within a week, it started doing the same thing. Brought it back, they had it a day. Said there was nothing wrong with it..it had to do with computer needing to “relearn” it’s shift points. Ok.. it did seem to straitened out. All good. But.... 8 months later, started doing it again, brought it back, (still under warranty at this point). Said they reset computer. Transmission was still ok.
Then recently started doing it again, same exact thing... took it back ( no longer under warranty). Was told nothing they could do it’s all internal.
Mentioned that it’s the same problem.
Then was told”everyone says that “
Did they ever actually fix the original problem? Looks to me like they”rebuild “ the transmission (????)
And bent me over... thanks guys

Jeff was GREAT !!! He rebuilt my sons transmission. My son works on the docks of UPS. His hr's are at night and Jeff had it rebuilr in 1 day. My son thinks his truck has more horse power. Our shop , Bayless Tire , recommended Transmissions To Go. They told me that is where they send their vehicles. I would recommend Jeff and there technians to anyone. You get a 1yr warranty. I have used other Transmission Repair shops in the past. This place is by far the best.
