I do not recommend Dr. Sood if you are looking for an orthopedic physician or surgeon. He is extremely unprofessional, irrogant, rude, and has the worst bedside manners I have ever seen in my life! He has no compassion at all. He is also always very rushed and at my very first appointment he basically "brushed me off". I had the same experience with him at the second appointment.



The staff at Bay Area Orthopedics in Glen Burnie is extremely rude, especially the young woman at the front desk. They also lie for the doctors which we experienced first hand when I was first told by the young woman at the front desk that she just spoke to Dr. Sood and that he was on his way into the office from the hospital and would arrive in about 15 to 45 minutes to begin seeing patients at 1:00 pm and that I could wait for him to quickly discuss my MRI with him but then I was lied to and told by a second person that Dr. Sood was not there and would not be in and that he would be doing surgeries at the hospital all day and next thing you know they called a patient in the waiting room back to see him and we heard him speaking to the patient and asked the woman/employee why she lied to us and the young woman basically admitted she lied and told us that he was in to see other patients and that "it was none of our business!" we could not believe the way we were spoken to. We were also told by the staff when we called to schedule our intital appointment that Dr. Sood specialized in the knee when in all actuality he specializes in the ankle and foot. He also cannot read MRI films and had to ask another doctor to assist him with reading my husbands MRI. He told my husband he no longer had a complex Meniscus tear that he had for two years, that it must have healed itself, his words were that his body "ate it up". But then when we read the actual report the following day, it showed that the meniscus tear is still present. Beware of Dr. Sood and Bay Area Orthopedics!!!!
