My friend locked her keys in her car we called Mike Road Service because they are located in our neighborhood. I was told there is a $15 diagnosis fee, but price to unlock would be dependent on how difficult job was. Minimum charge is $45, for a total price of $60. When the guy showed up 45 minutes later (we were told 20 by dispatch), he told us it would take him approximately 5 minutes and cost $185 to unlock the car! I told him that was unacceptable, as I was quoted $60 for a simple unlock. After all, you can get an entire YEAR of roadside assistance for $69 practically anywhere!

After going back and forth for several minutes, he finally agreed to unlock the car for $60, and it look him less than 2 minutes (yes, I timed him)! Seriously...he was going to charge us $185?? That is an exorbitant charge and I would go so far as to say unethical as they CLEARLY take advantage of people that are in a desperate situation. I am leaving this review as a WARNING to others.
