I can only speak for the experience that I had with one of the agents from Keller Williams Arlington. Kay Cameron was the seller’s representative on the house that we were buying. There were many red flags throughout the entire process, but I was hoping that it was just a matter of her being a part-time agent or maybe that she was a new realtor that didn't know any better...turns out she's been in the business for quite a while.



Kay repeatedly withheld information from us and ignored my agent's calls for days, suggested to her clients that they cover up the repairs that were agreed upon and signed in the contract, yelled at our agent over the phone, would not tell us what company performed the repairs, and told us to "just sign the closing documents and we'll take care of it after closing". The only time that she communicated back to us within 48 hours was when we had to delay the closing because she advised her clients to cover up the repairs and we refused to sign the closing documents until all repairs were done...she called back within about 15 minutes at that point. There was one day when my agent said she tried to call Kay at least 10 times throughout the day to try to get the status of the repairs but never could get in touch with her. I spoke with my lender in the afternoon and he said that Kay had been in touch with the title company within the last 30 minutes, so she was apparently ignoring our calls in the hopes that we would just sign the closing documents without finishing the repairs.



In the end, all of Kay's incompetence delayed our closing date and ended up costing us extra money. She also lost money for her clients for the repairs that had to be restarted and credited to us at closing (about $5k). I would not recommend that anyone do business with Kay. Hopefully there are some good realtors at this agency, but I would think twice before signing a contract on any property that is listed here.

I recently listed a house in Bedford with David Hart of Keller Williams. It was a pleasure to work with a professional with such attention to detail. David assisted us in every way guiding us in all aspects of the sale. From what repairs needed to be made, hiring a stager and a professional photographer (at his expense) all to make our property the most attractive it could be. He guided me in pricing the property and provided all of the data to confirm we were making the right pricing decision. Now for the best part, we listed the property on a Friday it was shown twice on Sunday and we wrote a contract the following Monday for only $1000 less than my asking price!!! In the current economy that is simply amazing, I had expected to sit on the house for months waiting for a buyer. David stayed engaged and helped us through a few hiccups with the title company but in the end everything went smoothly. If I had another house to sell I’d certainly be calling David Hart.

In a down economy, David sold our house for asking price the first weekend it hit the market. We were very impressed with David’s ability to feel the pulse of the market and price our house aggressively but also competitively. David went above and beyond what we have ever experienced with other realtors. His attention to detail and willingness to help with every aspect of getting the house ready to sell is remarkable. He helped move furniture around for staging, kept the sidewalks clean, and checked on the house regularly since we had already moved. Even after the sale, he was still there whenever we needed him. He met contractors for repairs when we couldn’t be there and even sold a piece of furniture for us! David’s work and business ethics are impeccable--we trust him completely. We only wish we had known him when we were buying our new house.
