Westbrook School is a therapeutic day school serving students in kindergarten through grade eight. It is a part of Northwest Suburban Special Education Organization, which was formed in 1968 as a joint agreement among its eight member school districts. Westbrook School s academic curriculum includes English, math, science and social studies. It offers a social and coping skills curriculum that focuses on anxiety management, crisis intervention, conflict resolution and personal problem solving. The school also provides services for students with autism spectrum disorders. In addition, it organizes various field trips and parent conferences. Westbrook School is located in Arlington Heights, Ill.
