Two weeks ago my car broke down on 294 S. The tow truck driver recommended a shop so I said ok, knowing that I wasn't going to let anyone do any work on this car without my approval first. Sure enough, the mechanic told me I needed this, and that, and it would cost me $1300. He got it running, so I have to give him that, but he said it was not safe to drive more than across town. I took it to PC Auto on a recommendation from a friend. He said he'd check it out but wouldn't make any promises. A few days later, he called me to tell me that everything was fixable for less than $300. He also told me to watch out for a few other things that might go wrong in the future and what to expect so I can catch them while they're still cheap to fix.



He's a rare breed. He understands that the value of a lifelong customer who will refer business is far more valuable than making a higher profit on a single job.
