The L.A. Arboretum is one of my favorite places to escape "L.A.". It is so vast, you can spend all day just communing with nature and relaxing your mind. I love taking out of town visitors there. They are always blown away. I took my 82 yr. old Mother not too long ago. I rented a wheelchair at the gift shop for the day and she was able to see so much more.

Beautiful gardens and trails and there are wild peacocks EVERYWHERE!! The kids love getting so close to them as well as Canada Geese, fish, rabbits, lizards, turtles, ducks and a couple Guinea Fowl.
