Through its nearly 100-year history, ThedaCare has woven itself into the very fabric of the communities it serves. ThedaCare is a community-owned health care organization serving the Fox Cities and surrounding regions of Wisconsin. In 2002 and 2003, its physicians were the best in the nation for quality of care as measured by the Health Employer Data Information Set. ThedaCare operates Appleton Medical Center, New London Family Medical Center and Theda Clark Medical Center. These facilities offer specialty centers and are known throughout the region as leaders in providing cancer, heart, orthopedic, neurological and trauma care in addition to acute medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient services. In 2002, ThedaCare, the Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin entered into a strategic alliance to improve the quality and value of health care they provide to communities in eastern Wisconsin. Its corporate office is in Appleton, Wis.
