Operational for more than 80 years and located in Appleton, Wis., Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area is a nonprofit organization that serves more than 6,000 girls in Outagamie, Winnebago, Waupaca, Shawano and Menominee counties in Wisconsin. It offers product sale programs for Daisy, Brownie, Junior, Cadette and Senior Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts of the Fox River Area is a part of Girl Scouts of the USA, which is one of the premier leadership skill development organizations for girls. Founded in 1912, it serves more than 3.7 million girls worldwide.
