Provided by YP.comI had the good fortune of being referred to Russell Automotive over a year ago when I was looking for a good repair shop near my office. The team is excellent! Service techs are great (fix it right the first time), prompt, friendly, and prices are fair. Steve and Chrissy have always treated me well.

Provided by YP.comBrought in my wife car because this supposed place was recommended by a friend. The owner Russell was told that the car had overheating, radiator dirty and related hoses etc. and would like it all fixed and give me the total when is done. I paid $1200 for all the repairs to less than 3 days later have overheating, no antifreeze coolant water etc. problem again which did not make any sense since I paid for these sort of related problems.
His response was, well; we did not replace all the hoses and we did not fix all related overheating problems when that was what I said and paid for in the first place; what an idiot right lol like I'm some d*** grandpa he can rip off. Well, I told him go F*** yourself and took my car and I will never go here again and I would recommend you do not either.
Sad thing of it all was that when he was confront it with the facts, he simply got all macho and said whatever take the car instead of admitting to his d*** a** attitude and put a smile on his face but, no well here we are!

I knew that my car was down and something seriously wrong with the motor. It's a 2001 Chevy Malibu. I got tricked into buying one of those $3000 Jasper motors by the scheisters in the service department. Instead of telling me, "Hey man, you need a new motor. Invest your money in another car," I got the, "We don't know what's wrong with it, we'll pull the old motor and let you know. " bit. My bill for a new motor in a 10 year old car was $5800. You know how many cars I could have gotten for that? Russell is in the business of getting the consumer for as much as they can. Russell had a $50 coupon that my wife had found online. We presented it to them, and they said, "No, this coupon is only valid if presented at the beginning of service." Why? So they can charge the consumer $50 dollars more to get their money back? Scheisters!

Russell Auto is by far the best auto shop in Orlando. The staff up front are knowledgeable and friendly. Their mechanics are some of the best around, and the price is always fair. I have taken my truck to Russell several times, and I wont stop any time soon!
