Mur-Ci-Homes is a private, nonprofit residential agency that provides services to more than 40 individuals with developmental disabilities. The agency maintains a staff of nurses, dietary and developmental technicians, environmental services members and transportation specialists. It organizes a variety of activities, such as field trips, movie outings, musical concerts, daily living training, physical therapy, and arts and crafts. The agency tracks individual vital statistics, medication requirements, ongoing medical conditions and special diets for scheduling appointments with medical practitioners. In addition, it records and tracks individual's personal funds that are used for clothing and entertainment. Mur-Ci-Homes has been operational since 1990 and is located in Antioch, Tenn.
