Worst pet store I have ever been into. The workers practically ignore you. One girl was leaning over the counter talking to her boyfriend on the other side and ignored me and another customer until one other lady came out front. Extremely rude staff, unprofessional, no customer service skills, no sense of urgency or accountability. Besides for the surface things like the place smelling, the puppies in the window rolling in feces and the cages looking like they are rarely cleaned-NEVER bring your dog to get their nails clipped here. This was the most traumatic experience my dog has ever had. I took my extremely nice 1-year old blue nose to get his nails cut with my fiancé. The woman grabbed a small container of powder in one hand and clippers in the other. She told my fiancé he would have to hold our dog cause he is too strong for her. She came around the counter and made us hold him on a concrete floor in front of paying customers at the register and she proceeded to cut his nails. At first I thought it was weird but got over it. I was trying to distract my dog while she clipped his back left nails and my fiancé holding him. She clipped three and then stopped started putting powder on his feet, when I stood up and realized what was going on my dogs nails were literally bleeding all over the floor. I have never seen so much blood come from a nail. She had cut them so short that there was half the size of my pinky finger nail of nail left on three of his claws. I was shocked! My fiancé stood up and she proceeded to tell us she didn't think he needed his back nails cut! Why would he not need them cut!? That is why we came there! She then told us that we may need to come back when there are two men that work there that can hold our dog down. I was appalled. Another women who worked there came from behind the counter and asked us where we normally get his nails cut, I told her we use to do them but he is too big so the place right next door to them usually does it. She proceeded to ask if they sedate my dog when they cut his nails! I was started to get very frustrated. My fiancé asked her how you know how much to cut of the dogs nails she told us, and I quote "You keep cutting the nail until it bleeds-then you know where to cut the nails down to on the other ones". Then she had the brain to tell us she wasn't going to charge us for cutting three of my dogs nails and make him bleed all over the floor. We left right away. I had to shampoo the seats in my car to remove the blood stains that were all over the back seat. I will NEVER give these people any business anymore in any way. This is horrible and I will also tell everyone not to go there so they don't have to go through what we did. if I could of left 0 stars and still made a review that's what I would of done.

Agree with almost every review I've read here & if you wanna stay in business might wanna think about us the customers with the same statements over & over & over again. Help there doesn't even seem to exist I've never been treated rude by the staff except the owner he was just awful, rude, even talking to me in a way that was almost like I did not know how to care for more reptile or was lacking knowledge. I can understand helping someone w/information they might not know, but it's how you do it & talk about lack of all together people skills. Hate going in there when I have to speak with him would getting to know your customers & small talk hurt you. Told him I had trouble locating ther new # when they moved he says well why I didn't check such & such places because it's listed there. You moved locations in the same town next keep the same # how's that. When I got back in my friends car they explained that's why they didn't wanna go in with me. Thanks for the heads up.

RIDICULOUS PRICES SOME ITEMS OVER PRICED BY AS MUCH AS 12.98$ DIFFERENCE. PLACE STILL SMELLS. THEY SHOULD NOT BE SELLING A LOT OF THE ANIMALS THEY SO MAYBE STICK WITH PET SUPPLIES MORE THEN THE ACTUAL PETS THEMSELVES. ALSO THE OWNER IS RUDE TO HIS CUSTOMERS & EMPLOYEES IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS & YOUR LUCKY IF HE GETS OFF HIS CHAIR TO EVEN HELP YOU (COMES OFF LIKE YOUR BOTHERING HIM OR SOMETHING), LACKS ALL AROUND PEOPLE SKILLS IN GENERAL. I REALLY MISS THE OLD PET STORE WE HAD IN ANTIOCH ALMOST RIGHT ACROSS THE WAY FROM LAS VEGAS RESTAURANT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN SMALL, BUT YOU DIDN'T DREAD GOING THERE.

Whenever I go to Best Pets,whether its to purchase fish,food or just to get some help with my fish,I always have a good experience.The fish are always healthy,good prices and the employees take the time to answer all my questions.

You can find almost anything in this store. The new place is on maim st. Its 3 times the size it was before. They have a separate room for used aquariums . There prices on cretin things is a little high for used but the new people there are great. I dont think theres been 1 time they didnt have the crickets we needed. And you dont smell them any more.

ive always had good luck with this store and have always gotten healthy small animals and puppies.id recommend to all my friends and family.

It is an extremely filthy store. The cats are sick with respiratory infections, and the 1 person I know who bought a dog there (not recommended) complained the dog was sick and had worms. The staff is hard to find when you need them and they're not very friendly. Prices seem high although there was plenty of parking available.

We looked everywhere for a pet store the would take hamsters and finialy they took them. not so perfect service though.

while my family and i do not often go to pet stores my son conned me into going in to see the puppies as we did the smell and dirtyness was rediculas i know its a pet store but as everyone has seen there are a ton of pet stores that are clean! as we walked and saw the puppies they were full of poop and there eyes were goopie with snot. as for the staff there a bunch of high schoolers that would rather talk to there friends then answer our questions! very unhappy and will never return!

The first kitten I purchased there was beautiful, clean and healthy. The second kitten I purchased there a couple of years later was filthy and smelly. Did not receive papers and medical records. When I called, they said they would mail me a copy. The kitten had worms. Thank goodness she has a beautiful personality.

My husband and I purchased 2 kittens here. They were, and still are, healthy, sleek and lovely. Service was great and all paperwork provided promptly. Cleanliness? It's a pet store! Highly recommend!

I would not recommend supporting this establishment. They fell short of meeting my every expectation of customer service, animal care, and cleanliness.

Great people, prices, and service. Would highly recommend! A+++
