Sears Service was outstanding. They arrived within the window time and went over the entire problem. They explained the next steps and set me up for a follower up appointment. They shipped the piece to my house and repair person showed up on time and fixed my dryer
Thanks Sears

David was awesome
He was overbooked so that made him late but he fixed it better than all repair men and women who fixed it before.

Scheduling the appointment was quick and easy. Repairman was 90 minutes outside the scheduled window, though, and when he left my floating linoleum was left with a bubble we are going to have to maneuver out. BUT the fact that he got the refrigerator quieted after 11 months of noise, I can overlook the issues.

After two visits Repair on ice maker and sticking flap is still not done. The repair man put in new parts , rushed away leaving a mess on the floor. He never checked to see if the flap was functional. It sticks open leaving warm air flowing into the freezer. The ice maker is not getting water. So two weeks until they can come out again. Repairmen seem over booked and over rushed.

We've used Sears Appliance Repair services for the last 5 years, since having them replace our dead home AC system a few years ago, and (more recently), replacing the aging furnace in our home as well.

We purchased 5-year Master Protection Agreements for each unit, and are thankful that we did, as we had a lot of trouble at first with the new AC system losing refrigerant for a while, at least until one of the Sears technicians finally located the source of the leak and got it repaired for good. (Seems the new condenser unit came to us from the factory with a defective valve).

We also just had our first annual Sears complimentary furnace check-up and free filter replacement just last week.

The bottom line here is that every Sears technician that has come out has been great, but two of them REALLY stood out, as going "above-and-beyond" on every service visit! We could not recommend Sears Service any higher! Our experience with their customer service desk has been just as great!

Repairman called before arrival, wanted us to clear out the freezer so he could easily access to replace part. We complied & had to throw out a lot of food since freezer was not keeping food frozen. he replaced ice maker & panel in back. We let it run for 24hr before trying new ice maker. When we tried it all we got was a piece of broken plastic that fell into the glass. two days after the fix , the freezer is again not working. Have already submitted a claim for loss of food. freezer is again making a loud noise, ice build up against the fan again? Again we have called & scheduled yet another appointment. Hopefully they can get it right this time ! Wish I could give lower than a 1 star...

Repairman was running behind but that was ok with me. I still had shopping to do. Came in and explain how I can maintain the life of my dryer and was out in a half hour. Sears is my store for shopping for appliances and servicing of them!

The unit ( DRYER ) was completely broken after the second repairman finish the repair .If there was a warranty how come we have to pay $550.00 ( ESTIMATE ) . The repair was supposed to have a 90 days warranty . ,

. The problem is the work of one is being finished by another one . The second repairman seems not to know what he was going to do . . Doing a personal call while doing the job is not good for business . Wire jumping is not a good test when you have the equipment to use in front of you . Why not use the tester to test. . And very very unfriendly .. He don't even say GOOD MORNING or HI . , he just walk in dismantle the dryer .
