The long letter MissJessica wrote I could not understand what she was trying to say. I have been going to Dr.Manj for years and I have 2 Shepards. He never muzzled my dog (EVER). I do agree that he is frank and tells us the way it is and I like that better than beating around the bush. He is funny and my 3 kids love him. I dont have any reason not to recommend him to all. If my dog is not nice I would be rather safe than sorry. If my dog is fat he is fat. I cannot blame the doctor for telling me that?????????

I don't even know where to begin explaining how terrible this vet is. Dr. Manju is the most unprofessional and frankly ignorant doctor I have ever encountered. I took my two year old dog in for a check up. The comments that I heard from the Doctor where not only rude and unethical but down right offensive. We began talking about how my breed of dog is stubborn. The doctor said "It's like a 15 year old girl. If her parents don't train her properly, she'll turn on bad." I shrugged that one off. Then I was told flat out that "Your dog is fat." Unprofessional yes, but I also shrugged that off. Then came the kicker. The doctor said "Its like putting ten really fat people in a room and ten really skinny people in another room, the fat people are more aggressive and stubborn." I was sickened. I had to walk away. His staff was very apologetic. I think that even they were disgusted with his behavior. However, he never came out to apologize even after I made his staff aware that we will never be returning nor will my family members with pets. If you are looking for a place to take your animal, do not give this man your hard earned money. I am SHOCKED to read these positive reviews. My animal wasn't even treated with respect. The doctor immediately muzzled him and left him muzzled during his twenty minute rant about fat people. When my dog tried to remove the muzzle with his paws the doctor slammed him down on the table. His comments were offensive and the way he handles the animals is disgusting. I reported him to the Connecticut State Board of Veterinary Medicine. Hopefully others will realize this man is not fit to be caring for animals or carrying out intelligent, respectable conversations.

DO NOT take the animal that you love to this man.

I have multiple pets and am going to AWVH for the past 3 years. Dr.Manj is very good with all my animals including my 4year old PIT. Two previous vets could not handle him with out knocking him. Dr.M is very frank, explains things in my language and treats me like a human. His fee is very reasonable and I cannot ask for anything more.

Dr.M keep up the good work. Did I mention that he has been practicing for almost 30 years.

I have been going to Dr.Manj for the past 5 years. I am 74 years old and have been to at least 7 different Veterinary Hospitals. This hospital is very caring and has a personal touch. Dr.Manj uses his brain and experience to make a diagnosis rather than expensive test,x-rays,Ultra sound etc etc. He explains everything and more than that he takes time to listen. Always smiling is the best part I like of him. I would recommend him to any body with out any hesitation. My hats off for him.
